Question:
When I try to restore my .pst file that was written to a CD -
I get errors what is wrong?
|
|
Answer:
When writing files to CD they are converted to a read only
format. Outlook restore is an interactive process and needs to have write rights
to the file. The solution is top copy the file to a hard drive location and
check the properties of that file to make sure that the read only tab does not
have a tick next to it.

Question:
How do I see a thread of mail to and from a contact, and in
which folders the mail is?
|
|
Answer:
In Outlook - open your contacts folder and select the contact
you want to check on. Now click on the activities tab and wait a few minutes for
the files to be located. You can change the sorting by clicking on the column
heading. You can also change the column headings. Do this by right clicking on
the header bar and selecting "field chooser" now select the field you want and
drag it into the header bar. These headers can then be resized and moved to the
position you want them.
